We embarked upon our work in the world of fertility and assisted reproduction more than 35 years ago with a firm and innovative commitment. Firm, because our 35 years of experience in the field endorse the professionalism and the precision of our work.
Innovative, because we have always made progress. In 1983 we inaugurated the first sperm bank in the Valencian Community for the cryopreservation of male gametes, so that they can be used in artificial insemination or cryopreserved in the event of radiotherapy, chemotherapy, surgery.
This extensive experience has been determined by our on-going belief in training, teaching and research. Three cornerstones that have enabled us to administer the latest fertility treatment and use the most advanced techniques that science has to offer.
The UR Group currently carries out more than 11,000 reproduction cycles in Spain and it has centres in the major provincial cities: Madrid, Malaga, Valencia, Murcia, Granada, Almeria, Cadiz (Jerez de la Frontera), Zaragoza, Ceuta and Albacete. Our head office is in Alicante, a municipality that is known worldwide as being the epicentre of the Costa Blanca (Mediterranean Spain).

HOSPITAL LOCATION
Our patients feel safer and more protected knowing that we are within a healthcare structure of the hospitals of the Grupo Hospitalario HLA. We do not set up Assisted Reproduction Units that are located outside a hospital environment.
QUALITY
The quality of the procedures. A top priority in our work. That is why we are audited every year by official agencies and external auditors.
PERSONALISED ASSISTANCE
We do not work with patients, we work with people. Our priority is to provide as much relevant information as possible and answer any questions about the treatment because we know that our work is extremely complex.
PROFESSIONAL RELATIONSHIP
We work with centres or professionals that are involved in the assisted reproduction and refer their patients to us. This relationship improves our efficiency to coordinate and complete any studies that are necessary to evaluate them together and help in the diagnosis and guidance about the treatment.
OUR TEAM
A distinguished group that is made up of Gynaecologists, Geneticists, Embryologists, Andrologists, Anaesthetists, Nursing Staff, Auxiliary Nursing Staff, Administrative Staff, among others.

This is essential in our procedures seeing as our whole team works together to avoid delays and wasting time when it comes to administering assisted reproduction treatment, which subsequently benefits our patients.

In turn theUR Group is distinguished for being international; it helps patients of all nationalities in all its centres including those abroad, currently in Mexico, Nicaragua, to whom we administer 30% of all treatment and soon in Oman and the United Arab Emirates.
